Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The McCune Charitable Foundation seeks a Program Officer. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a respected and innovative foundation in advancing its mission to enrich the health, education, environment, and cultural and spiritual life of New Mexicans. The Program Officer will work in conjunction with the Executive Director in managing the full life cycle of the Foundation’s program investments. Other Information/Requirements: 

Education: College degree required; Master’s preferred.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work across cultural boundaries.
Work experience: Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, with 3 years experience in job-specific relevant field, preferably in New Mexico.
Skills: Strong communication skills; strong analytical skills that can be applied to policy, organizational development, and budgets; excellent research skills. Spanish and/or Native American language skills preferred.
