Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) seeks a Program Manager to lead program work across the state. CSW educates the public, advocates for supportive policies, celebrates women’s achievements, and partners with communities to build a more equitable future. Mission: A New Mexico where all women and girls have equitable opportunities to be healthy, secure, and free from discrimination.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Manager will: plan and run regional events with the Director; support the annual Women’s Summit; represent CSW at statewide events; assist with legislative advocacy; provide outreach to partner organizations; share program info; create PowerPoints, blogs, and web content; and use Microsoft Office, Adobe, web tools, and databases proficiently.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required qualifications: Degree preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, web apps, and databases; alignment with CSW mission and commitment to equity; strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and communication skills; ability to work with diverse groups; manage competing priorities; work independently; attend monthly meetings; and share CSW work on social media.

COMPENSATION: Full-time, 40 hrs/week Governor Exempt position with a salary of $50,000–$55,000. Includes full NM state benefits: health, vision, dental, retirement, two weeks’ vacation, and a vested pension after five years.
