Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

1.Conduct outreach and develop relationships with decision makers and other stakeholders in the Multi-unit Housing community.
2.Educate stakeholders on issues around smoke-free housing in one-on-one meetings or larger events.
3.Facilitate smoke-free events and smoking cessation workshops for owners, managers, and tenants.
4.Coordinate support for MUH community members as they adopt smoke-free policies.
5.Maintain statewide database “salesforce” on MUH properties.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Contribute to development of annual targets and strategies that help the organization toward achieving the goals outlined in the nationwide ALA Strategic Plan; assist with quarterly reporting on progress toward targets.
2. Work, as assigned, on the implementation of the ALASW region-wide strategic plan.
3. Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Executive Director including special events.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling them to build relationships and work effectively with multi-unit housing owners, managers, and tenants. Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in public health, health education, or related field. Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish a plus. Non- smoker.
