Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa Q is seeking a full-time Program Manager for its residential housing program. Casa Q’s mission is to provide a variety of safe living options and related services for young LGBTQ people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

The Program Manager will implement, coordinate and guide the programmatic aspects of day-to-day service delivery. It will create an environment that is safe and supports young people.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Serve as the programmatic and milieu leader for 8 – 12 youth ages 14-17 who are housed at Casa Q.
• Lead and facilitate youth planning meetings and develop individualized plans.
• Create, develop and implement agency programs and services that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing training for 5-6 house staff.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or other closely related fields.
• Experience in developing and implementing new and innovative programming for youth.
• Experience in clinical or therapeutic services for young people such as psychosocial educational groups, individual, and/or family services.
• Experience in Positive Youth Development or other youth-centered strengths-based approaches.
• Experience and expertise in working with LGBTQ youth in a culturally appropriate fashion.

Compensation: $40,000 to $45,000 per year, depending on experience (DOE).
