Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Manager is a part time position responsible for interpreting and implementing programs and initiatives created by the Board that carry out the mission and vision of the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center. Programs will focus on economically sustainable fiber related initiatives that serve the members and the community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop a grant budget and funding timeline; develop strategic plans and oversee program implementation; develop fundraising plans pertaining to program implementation; recruit and cultivate sponsors, leadership volunteers and event participants; design and implement an annual giving program; represent EVFAC at donor meeting and events; raise awareness of EVFAC and its program in the community, state and nation; engage in Board development including orientation and strategic planning.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A strong background in program management, creative thinking, strategic fundraising, sponsorship solicitation and relationship management with key volunteers, major donors, and corporate sponsors; strong writing, organizational and networking skills; ability to work across diverse cultures; Spanish or a Pueblo language is a plus; ability to work on various initiatives simultaneously; organized and systematic; proficient use of Microsoft Office.
