Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

-Implement SAC’s established programs, the 21st Century After School Program and the Community Unity Summer Program
-Plan and direct weekly staff meetings; facilitate all program events
-Purchase supplies as needed to support program needs
-Maintain and inventory all program equipment
-Attend all meetings with program partners
-Meet with program stakeholders, implementing feedback as necessary
-Assist Executive Director in hiring and evaluating all program staff

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Search out and develop new grant opportunities
-Compose, edit and submit grants to potential and past funders
-Support fundraising efforts
-Draft newsletters and other promotional materials
-Attend relevant training and professional development
-Attend and provide support at Sawmill community events

Other Information/Requirements: 

The program manager must work well with young children and have some experience in youth development. It is very important to be organized and be able to document and report on programmatic progress.
