Program Director: Transitional Living Program

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Youth Shelters and Family Services (YSFS) is looking for a Transitional Living Program Director to ensure the successful delivery of Transitional Living Program operations, including case load management, client facilitation and interaction; to oversee and monitor contract compliance including data collection and file audits, completion of program reporting requirements, scheduling and supervision of employees.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

- Develop, implement and execute, review and revise operating policies and procedures
- Oversee the development and implementation of annual operating plans and budgets
- Participate in the hire, training, supervision of staff, ensuring clear understanding of job requirements and obligations
- Set solid, attainable goals and hold performance reviews against these goals; encouraging learning and educational opportunities, both professionally and personally

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelors in counseling/social work/psychology or related and 2-4 yrs of experience of working with in-crisis, homeless youth and experience preparing transition youth into independence
• Ability to work non-traditional work hours including evening, weekend and overnight to meet the needs of the program
• Excellent time management, project management, budgeting, and organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License, insurable; Criminal Records Check clearance
