Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This program is a 501 (c)(3) that provides non-emergent information and referrals to resources within the area of Otero and Lincoln counties. The role of the Program Director is to connect individuals via telephone to organizations and community resources and to facilitate the growth of the program through marketting, outreach and funding opportunities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Occasionally assisting the nonprofit (Thrive in Southern NM) that fiscally supports us with their own events and tasks.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Two-year degree from a college or university or at least two years’ experience in a related field (human service, nonprofit)
Strong presentation skills
Computer proficiency; proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite Programs
Work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and show empathy to people of vulnerable populations
Knowledge about the functionality of nonprofit organizations, grant writing and fundraising
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, insured automobile
Work weekends and evenings when needed

How to Apply: 

$10-$12 per hour dependent upon experience, knowledge and skill
Part-time, 20 hours per week
No paid medical, holidays or accrued vacation are offered
