Program Coordinator - Part Time

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Serves as information resource for members, responding to member emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Attends organization events, provides outreach to potential members, establishes connections with new members. Point of contact between organization members and Board. Attends monthly Board meetings and provides monthly program report. Oversees planning for special events that publicize the organization.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Acts as a liaison to partnering organizations. Maintains organization website and updates Facebook page regularly. Publishes monthly (electronic and print) newsletter, obtaining photo releases as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This part time position, approximately 40 hours per month, requires a Bachelor’s degree in social service, marketing or related field. Excellent writing skills. Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills. Experience working with nonprofit organizations preferred. No fundraising or supervisory responsibilities. Must have computer, printer, access to high speed internet and reliable transportation. Must pass a background check. Salary depending on experience.
