Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will support RAALP’s volunteer tutoring program by coordinating tutors, collaborating amongst the local and statewide community, and developing tools for curriculum support. The applicant should be passionate about literacy, with a desire to build upon our existing program with best practices, to evolve RAALP alongside its community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will conduct student intake, and match tutors to students; administer annual student assessments; perform routine check-ins with students and tutors; build curriculum tools that build upon and revise existing models for service; and organize quarterly tutor training sessions and continuing education workshops.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must speak Spanish; should have a background in education (teaching, instructional design, and/or administration); have a proven ability to motivate and manage large teams, particularly of volunteers; have familiarity with the Española Valley and/or Rio Arriba County a plus; be proficient amongst an office setting and remote work, with computers, and in databases; and have experience in the field of Adult Literacy a plus. Background check required.
