Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for assisting the Center for Educational Opportunity Director in implementing a pilot program called the Reentry Empowerment Project as well as teaching classes to adults, which includes curriculum development, lesson planning, and evaluation of student outcomes.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Maintains accurate records on all students. Provides oversight and coordination of GED and ESL teachers and program issues; builds community partnerships and communicates with partner agencies; oversees all grant requirements. Bachelor’s degree preferred; NM Teaching Licensure and certification in TESOL or bilingual education for ESL preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred;
