Program Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Coordinator implements hands-on programs in the Railyard Park with youth and adult volunteer groups. Work includes basic park maintenance and horticultural care activities. The position implements youth and community programs such as educational programs and workshops. The Program Coordinator works with various youth crews that come into the park and builds an activity plan that is tailored to each group.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Minimum of a High School degree, higher education in a related field preferred. Experience with Word, Google documents, and Excel. Previous experience with a job that supervises volunteers or work crews or the educational equivalent. Familiarity of plants with an interest in gaining knowledge of their care and growth. Physically able to perform laborious outdoor tasks in all seasons.
