Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Coordinator supports all Cancer Services of New Mexico’s programs, with particular emphasis on coordinating speakers and producing materials for our Family Cancer Retreats each Spring and Fall.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Coordinator position also serves as the primary point of contact for general phone and email inquiries and assists with other aspects of our day-to-day operations

Other Information/Requirements: 

Average of 15-20 hours/week, with a lot of variability throughout the year. Busiest times are the 4-6 weeks before and after each Retreat. Requires ability to work well independently; outstanding phone demeanor; strong organizational skills; computer proficiency (strong Word, Excel, and Outlook experience; experience with Publisher, PowerPoint, and Access desirable). Prefer applicants with a personal experience with cancer (e.g., as a patient or caregiver) - someone for whom this will be more than just a job.
