Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for obtaining basic preliminary information from immigration clients and preparing cases for filing with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services under supervision of an attorney. Copies and translates documents, maintains case notes, accurately tracks time and reports on case activities, and accurately completes office filing.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Schedules clients and reviews client legal cases that include battered spouse waivers and other domestic violence/sexual assault-related immigration processes. AA or BA strongly preferred; Bilingual English/Spanish required; plus two years of experience in clerical work required; excellent case management and multi-tasking capabilities required.
