Program Assistant II

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assist with preparation of client cases & provide referrals to community resources; Obtain basic preliminary information; work on data entry & prepare reports as necessary; files necessary documentation; Utilizes a web-based case management system to scan/upload documents. Maintains and monitors electronic case files. Translates documents (Spanish to English).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Must have a strong interest in helping others and ability to respond to cultural differences present among the Agency’s service population. Handles confidential information.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires: a high school diploma or GED equivalent; AA or BA preferred; Proficiency in MS, Outlook, Excel required; and minimum of 3 years of experience in related field preferred (legal Assistant, paralegal, Immigration). Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to relate to the public; Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Pay range starts at $13.00 per hr., DOE.
