Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Leadership, Albuquerque Reads, and Public Policy divisions at the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. Executes assigned tasks in a timely, efficient manner through the exercising of strong organizational skills. Coordinates multiple assignments and projects in such a way as to ensure their completion within time frames specifically defined by supervisor(s).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the guidance and supervision of the SVP Chief Business Development Officer and the Director of Leadership and Albuquerque Reads, the Program Assistant is primarily responsible for various routine clerical support services such as scheduling, maintaining program files, writing reports, and newsletters, conducting research, assisting with program events, and communicating with program clients.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a team and also independently and will have excellent communication, organizational and planning skills as well as solid writing and computer abilities. Event experience and non-profit work experience is highly recommended. Fluency in the following computer software is required: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Publisher with experience in creating spreadsheets. Employee will be trained in company's data management and newsletter systems.
