Program Aide

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Field inquiries about the program and volunteer opportunities.
• Maintain tutor records & files, including program demographics.
• Process volunteer applications.
• Respond to online volunteer referrals.
• Supervise volunteer tutors, answer concerns/ questions.
• Coordinate tutor trainings and in-service workshops.
• Create & distribute volunteer newsletter.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Assist Program Coordinator with new tutor volunteer interviews.
• Work with Program Coordinator matching learners with volunteer tutors.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Competent computer skills, including Word and Excel, Apricot, MailChimp, Weebly and SurveyMonkey.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Skills in database management and record keeping.
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
• B-lingual skills a plus.
