Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides the necessary leadership that ensures that the children in the care of El Ranchito de los Niños receive the highest level of care and that the welfare of each child is paramount in every decision.
Children: Insures that the resources of El Ranchito de los Niños are focused on the needs of each child.
Staff: Schedules, provides training and coordinates such trainings and provides oversight of house parents and house staff.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Behavioral Issues: Will research specific behavioral issues to insure that appropriate interventions are developed.
Educational: Reviews the educational needs of each child and insures needs are met.
Licensing and Certification: Will follow State Administrative Rules regarding Community Homes and the New Mexico Christian Child Care Association.
Other responsibilities include Communication, Food, Financial, Medication, Facility, Animals, Automotive and Volunteers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Finance or in a related field or an Associate’s degree in a related field with 5 years of Community Home managerial experience.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCE:
• Bilingual-Spanish
• Experience/Knowledge of the issues surrounding abandoned and battered children.
