Professional Grant Writer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Professional Grant Writer for general operating and project specific work. Salary DOE. Minimum 5 Years Experience Writing Grants and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, History or Anthropology preferred. Experience researching, identifying potential grants. Maintain a grants calendar. Build and Manage a portfolio of funders. Develop grant proposals for project specific and general operating costs. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Grant Writer will work closely with CEO and Board. Must have a proven track record obtaining grants for national, local, and international projects. Attention to Detail, Other activities as needed pertaining to grant writing. Participate in monthly meetings. Excellent Organizational and Communications Skills, Writing and Proofreading. Ability to prioritize work.
