Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Associate will be responsible for building a strong retail product selection to deliver sales, achieve financial goals and enhance the Museum brand. He or she will develop and manage the buying and merchandising assortment activities for the on-site and web stores. The Associate must work collaboratively with other departments to achieve product development and merchandising goals, and provide support for marketing plans and initiatives.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Understanding of trends and current events as they relate to “brick and mortar” sales, e-commerce, and website effectiveness
• Knowledge of design and strong understanding of visual aesthetics
• Solid understanding of means and methods for acquiring and analyzing sales, customer and trend data
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
