Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop and implement primary prevention curriculum developed in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Health focused on middle school and high school students; Organize and coordinate with team members to increase awareness to sexual violence in our Central New Mexico community; Assist the agency in outreach efforts at local community health fairs and programming such as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Clear understanding of gender-based and sexual violence, particularly how these forms of violence affect Native American & Indigenous communities and women; Ability to speak and understand at least one (1) Native American or Indigenous language, such as Zuni, Navajo, etc.; Reliable vehicle and driver’s license; Ability to pass a background check related to working with children and youth in New Mexico
