Main Areas of Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and evaluate projects and curricula targeting youth that will address all aspects of sexual violence (including anti-oppression issues) with program director and department staff. Initiate, develop and manage work plans for youth projects. Recruit youth to participate in activities and organizing efforts. Build supportive relationships with community members, including teachers, parents, service providers, and other pertinent organizations.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Direct experience or combination of experience and education may be substituted for degree
• 2 years direct experience working with diverse populations
• Community organizing and/or other relevant experience working with target populations
• Understanding of various cultural values, beliefs, and norms; especially as they pertain to community-led program development
• Ability to work collaboratively particularly in school environments
• Knowledge of youth and community issues
