Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Full-time Prevention Advocate needed for a Low Birth Weight Prevention Program. Job duties include, but are not limited to providing community and home-based services to expectant mothers. Prevention Advocates provide informational support to community partners and individual pregnant mothers and expectant families. Prevention Advocates promote healthy birth weight through connecting expectant mothers with community resources both formal and non-formal.

Other Information/Requirements: 

High school Diploma, AA in early childhood development or related field preferred. At least 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers and families. Valid New Mexico Driver’s License. Bilingual Preferred. $14-$16 per hour DOE. Benefits include Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account, optional Critical Illness, Short Term Disability, accrued leave and paid holidays.
