Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The President and CEO leads and directs the Santa Fe Community Foundation and is responsible for creating and executing a clear vision for advancing leadership initiatives and achieving financial sustainability. In conjunction with Executive staff, manages all aspects of the Foundation, and oversees and directs the professional staff, key consultants, and community and Board volunteers to carry out the mission of the Foundation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The President and CEO is an ex officio member of all standing committees of the board. S/he participates in regular monitoring of Board-established policies, reports regularly to Board committees in ways that build trust, ensures accountability, and keeps the Board apprised of risks and opportunities for the Foundation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Will consider combination of degree and relevant work experience
• Familiarity with the latest thinking on community foundation structure and purpose
• Background in nonprofit leadership
