Main Areas of Responsibility:
Assists in implementing activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth of children, maintaining classroom records, cleanliness and safety. Maintains daily open communication with parents and attends in-service and staff meetings.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; 45-hour entry-level course required or completed within 6 months of hire date; one year of qualified experience working with children; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; CDA-Childhood Development Associates or CDC–Childhood Development Certification preferred.
