Pregnancy and Parenting Teens Service Coordinator (part-time)

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Partners with internal staff to provide case management and other support services for in-crisis, runaway, and homeless pregnant and parenting teens addressing access to safe and stable housing, pregnancy issues, and child development education; and participate with community collaborators to enhance services and referrals related to target population.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinates and refers for pre/post natal care, well baby care; provide basic support services to the target population in conjunction with YSFS’ staff and community collaborators. Provides on-site education and individual mentoring in conjunction with community collaborators to address pregnancy prevention, parenting, nurturing, and attachment, child development, and child abuse prevention.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree in counseling or social work preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in human service field and two years relevant experience or equivalent. Fluency in Spanish and English, required. Strong PC skills with Excel, Word, and other databases. Valid Driver’s License, insurable under YSFS automobile policy. Criminal Records Check clearance
