Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Public Health, Social Work, Criminology, or related field. Two years direct victim services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Familiar with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and the standards as they relate to sexual assault services and collaboration between local rape crisis centers and correctional facilities; collaborate with detention facilities in Central New Mexico to include county detention centers, state correctional facilities, federal correctional/detention facilities, and juvenile facilities; provide sexual assault services to victims of sexual assault who are incarcerated.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must pass Criminal Records Background clearance; must complete 40-hour Victim Advocacy training; must be available to work a flexible schedule that could include weekends and evenings; maintain clear and positive communication with RCCCNM direct manager. RCCCNM Crisis Services, Albuquerque SANE, multiple detention facilities and other professionals; other duties as assigned.
