Practice Standards and Chapter Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will manage the Office of Practice Standards and provide support, facilitate work and provide input for the Practice Standards Council by collecting practice information, compiling reports on all activity and provide information on matters of practice issues.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

RT certified in one specialty recognized by the AART and ASRT member.
Bachelor’s degree.
5 yrs. medical imaging or radiation therapy experience in a management role.
Able to apply principles, concepts, practices and standards to ASRT's policies, processes and procedures.
Able to work with tact, political savvy and remain poised under pressure.
Solid communication skills and polished phone etiquette.
Able to work evenings, weekends and travel when needed.
Requires relocation to Albuquerque, NM.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Candidates must have knowledge of medical imaging and industry practices.
Candidates must be able to interpret customer and member needs to relay trends, develop new alliances and think creatively about potential relationships.
Project management, diplomacy, data gathering, interpretive and qualitative analysis, tracking, reporting, presentation, facilitation and public-speaking skills are essential.
