Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Summary:
United Way of Santa Fe County’s (UWSFC) policy work is coordinated through the New Mexico Early Childhood Development Partnership (NMECDP). The focus of NMECDP has been to create the public awareness and political will for investments in high-quality early childhood education and care.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Policy & Communications Analyst, working directly with the Executive V.P. of Early Learning at Kaune and Early Childhood Policy, will:
 Engage in policy analysis
 Coordinate all NMECDP communications
 Assist in grant writing/reporting
 Represent NMECDP with elected officials and legislative staff
 Develop/Foster Partnerships

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
 Min. 3 yrs. policy experience
 Bilingual preferred
 Bachelor’s req’d; MA preferred
 Excellent oral and written skills
 Ability to work well in culturally diverse setting
Walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and must be able to lift 40 pounds.
