Main Areas of Responsibility:
Serve as a policy analyst and use quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform advocacy. Key areas of work: 1) Conduct research and analysis approved by Deputy Director; 2) Work effectively with partner organizations and effectively communicate with communities of color statewide; and 3) Willingness to travel throughout NM to build and strengthen partnerships and engage communities.

Core competencies: 1) Design methods for research and analysis; 2) Accomplish research independently and collaboratively with staff; 3) Write and speak effectively to communicate research findings to diverse audiences; 4) Build and maintain positive relationships with diverse communities, funders and partners; 5) Knowledge of report development and grant deliverables; and, 6) Knowledge of current trends in research and public policy that affect the health and well-being of children and their families
