Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Albuquerque Community Foundation seeks a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Philanthropic Services team. Primary responsibilities for the internship will revolve around supporting grantmaking and assisting with administrative duties including: scanning grant applications, filing applications and preparing/mailing grant award letters.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Additional responsibilities include:
• Digitizing Foundation documents for historical records.
• Providing social media support as needed.
• Compiling donor packets.
• Helping with general and daily office activities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

An ideal intern candidate would be able to work a minimum of 16 hours/week (schedule is flexible). The candidate should be outgoing, eager to learn and pitch in with various activities, projects and opportunities as they arise. We seek candidates in all fields of study, but would like students with an interest or background in: humanities, political science, community engagement, the nonprofit industry and/or social entrepreneurship. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are a must.
