Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Working under general supervision within UNMMG and UNM Truman Health Services guidelines, provides pharmacy services to patients/medical practitioners. Receives, compounds, fills prescriptions, dispenses pharmaceuticals, consults with clients regarding the nature and use of drugs, and trains and/or supervises personnel. Performs routine quality control testing procedures; prepares and maintains all necessary records required by federal, state and local regulations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Licensed registered pharmacist, Pharm.D. preferred. Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of New Mexico. 2 years of experience in a retail/outpatient pharmacy, 340B pharmacy management preferred. HIV Pharmacist Certification preferred. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
