Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager

Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Conduct program participant screenings and intakes, Support Housing Placement, Negotiate and obtain leases according to grant guidelines and agency procedure, Create a Housing Sustainability Plan that is focused on housing stability with each program participant including:
Budgeting, Life Skills Training, Direct/Assist in applying/securing all eligible entitlements, Reducing other barriers to housing

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Ability to relate to women and children experiencing homelessness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of community resources
• Flexibility for evenings or weekends, at times, as needed
• Previous housing management/case management experience desired

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, social sciences, or related studies preferred or
• Minimum of two years of case management or commensurate experience with transferable skills
