Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

- Support the development of high-quality/effective pre-literacy instruction
- Ensure that children are able to detect and produce phonemes for auditory training
- Conduct baseline evaluations and repeat evaluations annually using assessments
- Create goals, document progress and complete billing sheets
- Continuously monitor, track and analyze student achievement data in order to identify needed supports and strategies for all students

Other Information/Requirements: 

- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology/Sciences or Communication Disorders from an ASHA accredited university program is required
- New Mexico license to practice
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide comprehensive treatment Willingness to learn Listening and Spoken Language techniques and principles
- Strong interest in working with young children with hearing loss to develop listening and spoken language
