Payment Processing Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

UWCNM is seeking a Payment Processing Assistant to be primarily responsible for processing payroll deduction payments, working with company payroll departments and monitoring and resolving needs both external and internal.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Implement the new payroll deduction payment processing procedures. Suggest & implement ways to improve the procedures. Work closely with Accounts Receivable to post in timely manger. Monitor pledge-loss issues and work with staff and company representatives concerning non-payment. Perform account maintenance activities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred. Three years experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access and knowledge of all other Microsoft Office products. Must be accurate and detail oriented and possess good communication skills.
