Partner Relations & Events Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is a key member of the Animal Humane Marketing Team and is responsible for sponsorship identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship; and management of events including Doggie Dash & Dawdle, Feline Film Festival, New Mexico Humane Conference, and business partnerships.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Research, develop, execute & grow existing and new marketing events & partnerships. Prepare monthly event financial reports & annual financial analyses. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward event sponsors & vendors. Steward & grow Doggie Dash & Dawdle’s Team Fundraising program. Execute Thrift Shop marketing. Manage website event content/calendar. Write/schedule Events & Outings eblasts. Steward & assist with growth of educational partners for NMHC.

Other Information/Requirements: 

4-year degree in communications, public relations, marketing or business is preferred. 3+ years marketing, event or comparable experience. Blackbaud/TeamRaiser or comparable sign-up/registration management preferred. Excellent written/oral communications skills. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Constant Contact a plus. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is desirable. Flexible working hours that will include evening and weekend hours.
