Part-Time Office Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Office Assistant is a part-time hourly position that reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for maintaining the daily operations and activities in the Albuquerque office. The responsibilities center around ensuring the office is effective and works efficiently and includes answering of incoming telephone lines. As first point of contact with donors, volunteers, vendors a courteous and professional manner is expected and required.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Office Assistant will also process deposits, facilitate community representation, and coordinate the local volunteer program. Other office related administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and pay strong attention to details.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be able to work collaboratively with other staff as well as work independently for extended periods of time. Excellent verbal/written communications skills and strong organizational skills are needed. Bi-lingual skills in English/Spanish a plus. Some evening and weekend hours required. Knowledge of telephone systems, copiers, and Microsoft computer software products is necessary. Non-Smoker. EOE
