Museum Educator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The museum educator is a member of the education team responsible for developing, updating, and delivering winter, spring, holiday, and summer camp programs; participating in school development programs at the museum; and being involved in community outreach efforts

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The museum educator will work closely with the Director of Education developing full-day extended learning program curriculum. The part-time museum educator will work approximately 20 hours/week.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills; experience working with children, especially ages 4-12; experience working in museums, camps, and informal science education; a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; and a flexible schedule, both daily and weekly. The Museum Educator must be CPR/First Aid certified.
