Part-time Housing Services Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reports to the Services Coordinator and requires field visits to scattered site housing. Provide assistance and support to residents of apartment communities in order to assist residents in maintaining permanent housing. Welcome and establish contact with new and existing residents. Assist the Services Coordinator in facilitating tenant meetings and community social activities as desired by the tenants. Provide crisis intervention as needed.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop supportive, professional relationships with residents in order to assist them in enhancing the quality of their lives and encourage them in taking steps towards self-sufficiency. Provide supportive linkages between residents and external agencies and community resources as requested by the residents.

Other Information/Requirements: 

At least 1 year experience working with homeless/severely mentally ill population
Bachelor's Degree in Human Service Related Field. Experience may be substituted for degree, depending on years of experience.
Community Support Worker or Case Management experience prefered.
