Bookstore Clerk

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Process sales orders, pack, ship and track accurate shipments. Customer relations by phone & online. Maintain physical material inventory, perform data entry and invoicing. Work with office staff, customers, and vendors to complete daily tasks. This position is 15 to 20 hours/week, $12 per hour. Potential for increased hours, responsibilities and eligibility for health benefits.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Prior retail customer service, preferably in a bookstore;
• MS Office, Quickbooks, Shopify, Google Suite;
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. and perform manual labor when needed;
• Creative problem solver with great time management skills;
• Organized and detail oriented;
• Can work independently;
• Receptive to the process of nonviolent communication
• Reliable transportation.
