Part-Time Bilingual Patient Navigator (fluent in Spanish and English)

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Patient Navigator’s primary role is to assist our practical support program clients with day-to-day needs while they are in Albuquerque accessing abortion care. The Patient Navigator will do intake, assessment, and evaluation of assigned clients to support them with transportation to appointments, hotel accommodations, and other needs that are associated with the patient care.
Flexible schedules to work around clients' clinic appointments and needs are required.
Reliable professional vehicle.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Support clients traveling from out of state to access abortion care; manage online support requests and data input.
• Connect clients to resources that will minimize the barriers to their abortion care. Provide resources for practical support care for patients accessing abortions (transportation, lodging, gas stipends, and more), as well as connecting them to outside resources.
• Follow-up with clients while in NM and support their daily needs.
• Support with weekly errands for program needs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Two or more years of work experience that you believe have prepared you for this role are required.
• Strong communication skills and active listening.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Google Voice, UBER APP and other software preferred.
• Experience with data management required.
• Languages:
o Fluency in English required
o Fluency in Spanish is required
