Main Areas of Responsibility:
Assist the Finance Director in managing the financial operations, including systems for reporting, program, and financial activities and safeguarding assets. Duties include: maintaining accurate financial records, processing cash disbursements, entering daily gifts and processing thank you letters, reconciling bank/investment statements, performing monthly cash sweep and quarterly fee assessments, and recording all investment information and allocating activity to funds.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Produce reports including, budget reviews, financial statements, and fund statements
Prepare schedules and information needed for the outside independent audit and preparation of the Federal Form 990 by an outside CPA
Maintain Foundation Policies, Procedures and Guidelines manual and review annually
Communicate information as needed to donors and prospects
