Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Summary of Position:

Overnight Residential Advocate will perform a variety of tasks depending on the needs of Casa Q.Overnight Residential Advocate provides direct care, supervision, and support of residents 14-17 years of age. Client Advocates participate in day to day operations of the program including but not limited to:

Transportation to appointments, education.
Meal preparation
House chores
Evening shifts misc tasks.
Room checks
Case plan support

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa Q is a transitional living shelter with 8-10 beds for LGBTQ++ youth 14-17 years old.
Client advocates provide 24/7 direct care and supervision of youth residents in compliance with policies, procedures, contracts, and other regulations. Client Advocates work to ensure the health and safety of clients/youth by responding immediately to any incidences that might impair the health or safety of any resident or staff member.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Valid Driver’s License, personal auto insurance, insurable under Casa Q automobile policy to allow transport of clients. Criminal Records Check clearance/CPR and First Aid certificate required
Qualifications Experience in human service field with one year relevant experience, preferred; or some college or high school diploma and/or five years relevant experience with youth required knowledge of residential program Criminal Records Check clearance/CPR and First Aid certificates
