Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under the supervision of the Program Director of Crisis Services, the Crisis Response Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention to anyone affected by sexual violence by responding to calls on the hotline and accompaniment to forensic exams. Other duties include maintaining accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
• Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Access to own vehicle and phone
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
