Main Areas of Responsibility:
Recruit, enroll and train providers in the CACFP; Be familiar and promote the rules and regulations of the State and Federal CACFP; Ensure that all providers have been approved and have knowledge of the rules and regulations of the CACFP and maintain active case load; Monitor compliance with CACFP, registration and tribal authority, as appropriate; and verify provider’s menus to ensure they meet requirements;
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure documentation of provider’s reimbursements is correct and timely; assure that all children claimed are accountable and have parent applications; Conduct parent audits and during home visitations document deficiencies and prescribe corrective action; Visit and monitor all approved providers as required, insuring that nutritious meals are served and quality of program is within Federal and State guidelines; and Compile and submit expenditure reports to designated supervisor.
