Operations Coordinator for Generation Justice

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Generation Justice (Albq.) is seeking an energetic, driven, social justice-oriented Operations Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in building the infrastructure of a growing youth media organization. The position will support all operational aspects and fundraising initiatives. This team player will have exceptional organizational skills and experience in non-profit operations and systems development. This is a contract/employee position

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintain a safe, efficient & productive office environment. Organize & assist w/mtgs, events, projects. Manage systems & procedures. Oversight of operations & internal communications.
Development & monitoring of GJ's budget & ensure overall sound financial mngt. Process invoices. Ensure the org properly administers & reports its grants. Assist with donor records & communications.
Assist Director with financial/admin procedures for team of 10-15.
Assist w/staff recruitment, hiring, development.

Other Information/Requirements: 

-BA degree
-Minimum of 4 years operational experience, preferably for non-profits.
-Excellent writing & management skills; strong communication & leadership skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate & coordinate effectively & efficiently.
-Demonstrated budget & personnel mgmt experience & problem solving abilities.
-A strategic thinker, well organized, positive communicator, relationship builder & a demonstrated ability to set goals/priorities & meet deadlines.
-Enjoys working with youth.
