Main Areas of Responsibility:
Part-time (30-34 hours/week; Tues–Fri 7am-2pm; Sat 7am-1pm (periodic early morning/additional weekend days).
Bilingual: Spanish and English
Reports to Operations Director
Duties: food sourcing, volunteer support/training/recruitment/scheduling, food procurement, truck unloading, pantry stocking, storage, inventorying, data entry, food distribution prep, food distribution, facility/equipment maintenance, safe handling of food, pickup routes that may periodically require 5:30 AM start time
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist with distribution of food to community members and all preparation for food distributions
• Guide volunteers in safely unloading delivery trucks, food storage and rotation, pickups, deliveries, restocking, repacking, and food box preparation
• Maintain food pantry guest database and food inventory databases
• Clean food room, kitchen, hallways, guest intake room, and outdoor food distribution areas on regular basis
