Operations Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides professional administrative and operational support for Native youth health and wellness organization. Operates personal computer to enter data, draft, edit, revise, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials; Greets and directs visitors; resolves routine administrative problems; Answers general inquiries concerning activities and operations of the Foundation; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; Database entry and reporting.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail; drafts or prepares responses to routine inquiries; prepares photocopies and facsimiles; performs mail and shipping activities; Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents; Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments, and makes travel and lodging arrangements; Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree (in Business Administration) or related field and at least three (3) years administrative experience with advanced computer experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Nonprofit experience preferred. Knowledge of Native American culture and social issues and/or youth health/wellness.
