Office Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Office Manager ensures a smooth running office and is responsible for reception (phone and front desk), daily operations, supply ordering, mail service, physical plant (building functionality and security in two offices) vendor relations, equipment maintenance, IT coordination, assistance with insurance policy management, general administrative and secretarial support, staff support (errands, filing, copying, proofreading), preparation of direct mail, and some volunteer supervision.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Position located in downtown Albuquerque but may require travel to Santa Fe office 2 to 6 times per month; APNM has a vegan office policy (no animal products may be worn or eaten in the office; includes silk, leather, fur, wool, honey, meat, dairy, eggs).

Must work independently and with minimal supervision; highly detail oriented and efficient; responds to a fast-paced work environment and unexpected deadlines; supports the work of program and management staff; implements improvements in the organization’s operations, technology and communications systems; maintains professional demeanor and demonstrates the highest level of discretion.
