Office Assistant

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We need someone to help our busy office get organized! We are growing and need to keep ship-shape. Answering phones and client/volunteer questions is a big part of what you will do. You must also be accurate in your typing and data entry - our client’s well-being depends on it!

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Answers phones, takes messages, directs callers, answers questions about the program
Prepares reports, invoices, client files
Manages the mail (pick-up, drop-off, recording incoming payments and donations)
Assists the Client and Volunteer Coordinators and the Accounting Manager
Data entry
Maintains files
Occasional Driving
Other duties as assigned

Other Information/Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED (Some college or equivalent work experience preferred)
Two years related experience or relevant coursework
Able to exchange non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate
Good oral and written communication skills
Comfortable working with computers and computer software, including complex databases
Must have reliable transportation

How to Apply: 

Position is part time; 9:00am - 1:00pm; M-F
Starting pay: $11.00 - $13.00/hr. (DOE)
